Renovation of three-room apartment in Sauze d’Oulx
OWNER'S REVIEW
“We bought an apartment to renovate in Sauze d’Oulx in the Susa Valley.
The result was exciting: you can breathe the air of a characteristic chalet with a modern design despite being an apartment.
Team of great professionals."

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project concerns a real estate unit located in Sauze d’Oulx renovated starting from two separate apartments - a studio apartment and a two-room apartment - which, at the request of our customers, were joined together. By eliminating the dividing wall between the two apartments it was possible to rethink the entire distribution of the unit to create a three-room apartment on one level. The distribution of the internal spaces was dictated by the needs of the clients who requested a large living area and two bedrooms, one of which has a personal bathroom.
The interest was focused on the furnishings starting from the entrance area, a distribution space that acts as a filter to reach the living area and the two sleeping areas.
The large living area has left room for the customization of the internal space divided into two areas, one dedicated to a large kitchenette and dining area and the other dedicated to the relaxation area. The dining room was equipped with an extendable table with storage benches to optimize the spaces on one side and the possibility of placing seats on the other free sides and making this solution as comfortable as possible to also accommodate guests; in the relaxation area, an armchair and a comfortable sofa have been inserted which face towards a wall equipped with a TV cabinet, characterized by a very particular detail with sections of trunk placed next to each other which give greater personality to the living room with this material effect.
An important feature of the project is the use of boiseries which are visible from the entrance on the right, hiding functional and spacious wardrobes and shoe racks to optimize the spaces and meet the needs of a family of four people.
There are two bedrooms: a smaller one containing a system of staggered bunk beds to leave room for breathing room and a large wardrobe despite the small size of the room; the double bedroom enhanced by a boiserie with LED strips that characterize and create a pleasant atmosphere in the room, is treated as a "suite", according to the customers' needs, thanks to the combination of a personal bathroom, accessible directly from the room, in which it is a shower with chromotherapy was chosen. The second bathroom, however, adjacent to the children's room also functions as a laundry room thanks to a convenient washing machine also hidden by boiserie.
We focused particularly on the lighting engineering study, installing both technical lights to illuminate all the rooms in the right way, from the darkest to the brightest, but also very suggestive lights, as can be seen in the double bedroom, equipped with a particular LED strip and in the living room where a large suggestive painting has been inserted with a frame containing LED strips which give a warmer and more welcoming touch to the environment, especially in the absence of external lights.
The whole apartment has its own clearly defined character, comfortable and not predictable given the originality of the furnishings and the combination of different materials such as wood, dominant and taken up both in the furnishings and in the coverings, the walls left purposely rough in the shade of dark grey, a color echoed in the handles, kitchen worktop and lighting fixtures.
